Game development today isn’t failing because of a lack of creativity or technology, it’s failing because production is misunderstood, under-taught, and often ignored.
This course is designed to change that.
Game Production & Pipeline Management teaches you how professional game producers think, plan, and guide a project from concept to release. Whether you’re a game designer, developer, or aspiring producer, this course will help you understand how real games get shipped, not just how they’re designed.
You’ll learn how to structure a game project, break ideas into actionable production roadmaps, identify dependencies across disciplines (design, art, code, audio, QA), and manage scope throughout development as well as learning tools like Arielle, as your Producer's copilot.
We’ll cover modern production workflows used by indie teams and studios alike, including pre-production planning, milestone definition, task organization, and pipeline optimization.
A major focus of this course is practical application. You’ll apply production concepts directly to your own game project.
You’ll be guided through the full production lifecycle, with the goal of preparing your game for a real-world release, including distribution platforms like Steam.
By the end of the course, you’ll understand how to think like a producer, communicate more effectively with teams, and confidently guide a game project from idea to launch.
